How Is CoolSculpting Elite Performed?
After your treatment plan is designed at your initial appointment, your first procedure will be scheduled. At your appointment, a gel pad and the CoolSculpting Elite handpiece will be used on the predetermined areas, and controlled cooling will start. The cooling, delivered by the applicator, will begin to target and freeze the fat. You will likely feel a cold sensation during your procedure, but this does not typically create significant discomfort. As the handpiece uses suction to pull the targeted fat into the treatment area, you can expect to feel a slight tugging or stinging, but these will be completely normal sensations.

What Should I Expect After a CoolSculpting Elite Treatment?
As CoolSculpting is noninvasive, you can return to normal activities following treatment. You can usually return to school or work immediately following the treatment. Side effects of the treatment can include bruising, swelling, stinging, redness, and tenderness at the treatment area. These symptoms are short-lived and will subside in the days following your treatment. Expect to notice results within three weeks, while you will see the most evident and dramatic results 1 – 3 months following your CoolSculpting treatment.
