Following a consultation to develop your best treatment based on your skin's condition and needs, you will relax in a treatment room as your facial begins. Every facial will be customized, but most treatments will start with a deep cleaning to clear away dirt, oil, makeup, and lotions. After that, steam is often used to open the pores to extract blackheads and whiteheads. This is usually followed by a type of exfoliation performed either manually or with an add-on treatment (chemical peel or microdermabrasion). A serum or mask will be massaged in to nourish deeply. Finally, an SPF moisturizer selected for your skin type will be smoothed on to protect the skin from sun damage following the treatment.
